Dr Camilla Ducker is a global health leader and medical doctor specialising in public health, child survival, and neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). She has extensive experience in policy development, program implementation, and advocacy, with a strong commitment to African-led public health solutions.
Dr Ducker currently serves as the Director of the REACH Network and Lead for Strategic Communications and Partnerships for REACH Mali Scale-Up, working through CVD Mali to advance child survival strategies, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveillance, and large-scale health interventions. In this role, she facilitates high-level partnerships with ministries of health, donors, and implementing agencies, ensuring that REACH’s work aligns with national priorities and global health goals.
Previously, she was a Senior Adviser at the World Health Organization (WHO) in the Global NTD Programme, where she played a pivotal role in strategic engagement, diagnostic R&D, and donor relations. She also served as a Senior Health Adviser at the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID), where she managed a £100 million NTD portfolio and shaped global policies on disease prevention.
With an MBBS and an MSc in Public Health for Developing Countries from LSHTM, along with multiple postgraduate qualifications, Dr. Ducker brings technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a deep passion for health equity to all her work. She is dedicated to strengthening health systems, building local capacity, and ensuring that evidence-based, cost-effective interventions reach the communities that need them most.
