The evidence is clear. Deworming remains one of the highest impact investments in global health. Unlimit Health supports large scale, evidence-led programmes to end parasitic disease. These are among the most cost-effective ways to improve health, education, and long-term economic outcomes in some of the world's most marginalised communities.

In 2026, The Life You Can Save conducted an in depth evaluation of Unlimit Health. They analysed Unlimit Health-supported mass drug administration (MDA) campaigns in Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Côte d’Ivoire, covering over 24 million children.
The evaluation measured impact using Disability-Adjusted Life Years (DALYs) averted, a global standard for quantifying reductions in disease burden. This calculates the number of years living with a disease or disability that the intervention prevents, in the communities that receive treatment.
The Life You Can Save rated our schistosomiasis programmes as “highly cost effective”, with costs as low as $36 per DALY averted in Madagascar. For context, interventions under $100 per DALY are considered highly cost effective according to WHO criteria.
