Carolynne Wheeler

As Head of Communications at BBC Media Action and previous roles as Head of Global Media at WaterAid and with BBC News, The Globe and Sunday Telegraph, Carolynne has over two decades of experience working in journalism, media and communications. She joins the board members with expertise in crisis communications and managing concerns of reputational risk, having overseen these issues across BBC Media Action’s 24 countries. Carolynne is also part of an advisory group on best security practices for social media for all BBC Media Action’s country offices.
