Alexandra Carlin
Technical Advisor: Data

Alex completed her MSc and BSc in Zoology at the University of Lincoln, specialising in large-scale data analysis of sexual selection, specifically homosexuality in primates.

Alex works alongside the MER team to manage data and reporting coming from our supported surveys and treatment campaigns. During her time at Unlimit Health, she has explored a range of ways to make data more accessible for both our lay audience and technical partners. It is her passion to make data exciting and understandable for everyone, whilst showing the true impact of the work we do.

Alex has lead on designing and executing the WASH Decision Matrix, a WHO tool provided as part of the WASH and NTD Toolkit, aiding government officials in assessing NTD and WASH data. She also likes to flex her artistic traits through our data communications. You can see examples of her work through our StoryMaps on epidemiological surveys, coverage evaluation surveys, or celebrating our 20^th anniversary.

In her spare time, Alex enjoys exploring alternative universes through video games, learning new languages, and drawing.
