Rina Soepeno-Pettit

Rina holds an MA in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from University of Essex, and a BA in International Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran in Indonesia.

An Indonesian national with a strong interest in international development, Rina started her career with Unicef emergency operations. She spent two years in Sumatra for tsunami relief operations before settling in Colchester and working in the fundraising and donor relations aspect of local and international charities, such as Headway Essex and Lepra UK.

She is a food enthusiast, both in creating and eating, who recently rekindled her love of Rubik’s Cube and Lego through her children’s birthday presents.
