David has over 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, focusing on data management, digital marketing, communications, and content production. He began his career at Blackbaud, a leading provider of software and services for non-profits, before moving to the Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF), where he worked in various roles, including as Communications Manager.

David has also worked as a consultant for non-profits, helping organisations develop digital marketing strategies and create video and audio content to engage supporters.

He later joined Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home as Cryptocurrency and Digital Fundraising Manager, helping the organisation forge partnerships and expand into this emerging space. Recognised as an authority on crypto philanthropy, he was named one of the 50 most influential people in cryptocurrency fundraising by The Giving Block in both 2023 and 2024. He regularly advises UK non-profits on crypto adoption and has spoken on the topic at conferences across the UK, Europe, and in the US.

In his spare time, David enjoys podcasts, playing the guitar and learning to play chess.
