SCI Foundation is now Unlimit Health. Learn more about what the change means for our ongoing efforts to eliminate neglected tropical diseases
6 April 2021
Join us on 21 April as we celebrate the official launch of the Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium ADOPT program – an implementation research program that paves the way for the large-scale delivery of a child-friendly formulation to treat schistosomiasis in preschool-aged children in endemic countries.
The free online event will be moderated by Dr Anouk Gouvras of the Global Schistosomiasis Alliance and will feature an expert line-up of speakers including Dr Mwelecele Ntuli Malecela, Director of the WHO Department of Control of Neglected Tropical Diseases.
Presentations will provide an overview of the work of the Consortium and the progress made to date. The event will also include a panel discussion with endemic country partners who will review the path to access and implementation of the new pediatric formulation in Kenya, Côte d’Ivoire, and Uganda.
The event will take place via Zoom and simultaneous interpretation from English to French will be available.
